The Christian Church of Covenant and Kingdom

The WORLD makes no secret that it finds the Church of Jesus a practically irrelevant operator of religious services behind relatively closed doors, and divorced from the realities of the 21st Century. They feel they are quite justified in regarding themselves as having passed into a post-Christian era. Christianity is for them a spent force, however much it was influential on previous civilization.

Do we think we are justified in opposing and contradicting their view?

Are we justified in claiming that our faith is still ‘the faith once delivered to the saints’?

We state a doctrine of a justified faith, but it has sadly been lacking in evidential confirmation. We suffer from that negative experiential witness of the ‘backslidden’ which John pointed out in his Epistle contributed to an onset of anti-Christ. Which was an historical repeat of Israel’s negative witness to their covenantal relationship with GOD at the time of Exile, arriving at the anti-climax of Exodus.  At least it was so interpreted by the nations as a failure by GOD to sustain the purposeful future of his rescued People. Which led to GOD’s complaint against his people that his own relationship with the nations had suffered serious setback.

The Revival we need and should pray and work for, concerns our Renewal in the Covenantal relation and the activity of delivering the establishment of Kingdom as the outcome of our spiritual warfare against whatever stands in the way. Instead of wandering the desert to no purpose (in spite of putting in place some Programmes in Purpose), we should be encircling Jericho as a stronghold that needs casting down as a first step in warfare by Covenant. That’s our Old Testament model – an Israel that was finally led by the Covenant to proceed with the possession of their God-given inheritance.

Apparently we have given up believing that it is our Father’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom – else why are we not proceeding with it? As convenient cover, we have switched the Kingdom from Earth to Heaven. We have satisfied ourselves on this by rating the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven as interchangeable terms, although the Lord’s Prayer doesn’t do this. Two separate Kingdoms are acknowledged, the second to be created on the pattern of the first.

To fit in with this, we have also changed the time frame of Revelation, suspending the whole disclosure as applicable to a history covering 2 millennia that begins with the Second Coming of Christ. This is a move which embarrassingly defies the opening announcement (at the end of the first Century that saw Christ’s’ first coming) namely, that the recorded events given in vision to John were shortly getting underway with disclosure of the experience of the churches.

These Covenant and Kingdom issues now become the publication priorities to be announced through this website. We invite interim e-mail registrations for regular information while we are preparing a series of full study manuals.

NB. Referring back to the ‘spent force’, we must make clear our understanding that we were never meant to be a forceful force (such as by the employment of military force) which is what was introduced in 800 AD to make us a so-called ‘holy’ copy of the Roman Empire. As a strategy it has never been corrected, and has hindered evangelisation for 12 Centuries.

Jesus said we were to be a Light force that would also be anti-corruptive (like salt).
